Andre Ferran
President
Andre joined FMA in the fall of 2018 and served as the Treasurer for the both the spring and fall semesters of 2020. During his first semester at FMA, Andre served as an market analysis intern for Union Gaming Securities. He is currently a Junior pursuing a BSBA in finance and expects to work as a credit risk intern for Credit One Bank during the summer. Andre enjoys camping and hiking at Zion National Park. Andre is set to graduate Spring 2022.
Monserrat Tavera
Executive Vice President
"Monsee" is currently a senior pursuing a BSBA in Finance. She joined FMA in Spring of 2018 and has continued to be active in the organization. FMA has provided a vast amount of insight on the financial career paths after graduation and continuously teaches her new skills needed to thrive in the industry. This year, she hopes to obtain a summer internship and graduate in the Fall. A fun fact about Monsee is that she loves dancing and eating flan.
Angela Chen
Vice President of Operations
Angela is a senior pursuing a BSBA in Finance. With her past leadership experiences, she looks forward to serving as the Vice President of Operations of FMA. She is excited to work alongside such an amazing team and look forward to blossoming lifelong friendships and connections. In her spare time, Angela enjoys exploring new places and trying new food.
Khashi Khorrami
Project Manager
Khashi’s parents immigrated to the U.S back in 2012 in pursuit of a better life. Growing up, they emphasized the importance of education and supported him throughout his journey. Working hard to achieve his definition of success and for his family is what keeps him motivated everyday. Khashi’s college journey started from CSN, and he is now pursuing a degree in finance at UNLV. Khashi believes finance is not only an great career but the financial knowledge can also be useful in his day-to-day life. He is on track to graduate Spring 2022 with a BSBA in Finance.
Acely Gregorio
Director of Membership
Acely is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Finance at UNLV. She decided to join FMA to build a network with professionals in the business industry and take advantage of opportunities in having the ability to impact the community through volunteering events throughout the semester.
William Tangog
Director of Philanthropy
William transferred from CSN in the spring of 2019 to UNLV. He joined FMA in Fall 2019. During his first semester as a member, he was able to listen to professional speakers with experience in the finance industry. William has worked in the past as a stock broker and has always had an interest in stock trading. He is currently a Junior and hoping to find an internship either domestically or internationally. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports games and loves to hike in his spare time.
Miguel Mercado
Director of Marketing
Miguel Mercado is a first-generation American, born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. Miguel is currently a full-time student at UNLV majoring in Finance. Miguel works as a self-employed Notary Public where he helps guide clients with their closing loan documents. Miguel enjoys hiking and camping at National Parks. His main goal is to establish a career in Corporate Finance.
