Nessa Yip is currently a junior pursuing a BSBA in Finance. She is an international student as well as a professional swimmer, representing the Malaysian National Swimming Federation. She joined FMA in the fall of 2023 and had made so many indelible memories with the association.

My name is Sebastian Ladao, and I am a third year Finance and Economics Dual Major. Currently, I work as an intern in private wealth managment at a bulge bracket bank in Las Vegas, NV, but I aspire to transition either into an investment banking role out of college or directly into the buy side. What brought me into finance was my love for analysis which was built from studying boxing matches, a common thing I did as an ex professional boxing prospect. I am this semester’s Vice President, and my goal is to help build a culture within the financial management association while focusing on developing skills that can help us in our future careers. I am excited to meet and get to know all of you!

Sehaj joined FMA in the Spring of 2024 and is currently a junior pursuing a BSBA in Finance. He spent this past year working as an intern at UBS Financial Services in the private wealth division. He hopes to do research abroad one day in Germany or Luxembourg. Passionate about refining his leadership and communication skills, Sehaj participates in FMA and other student activities at UNLV. Outside of work and academics, he enjoys practicing Muay Thai, reading, and playing soccer.

Nicole joined FMA in the Spring of 2024 and is currently a junior pursuing a BSBA in Finance with a minor in Accounting. Previously, she worked as a General Manager at CCFI, where she gained valuable managerial insight and successfully grew a portfolio of clients by over 40% YoY. Passionate about refining her leadership and strategic decision-making skills, she actively participates in FMA and the Finance Club at UNLV. Outside of academics, she enjoys studying stocks, problem-solving, and exploring new business ideas.

Amin joined FMA in the Fall of 2023 and is currently pursuing his second Master's in MBA with a concentration in Finance. He has a master's degree in mechanical engineering and worked as a researcher in a few research centers and universities in different countries. He was listed in the world's top 2% scientists for three consecutive years (2021, 2022, and 2023) by Stanford University and Elsevier. His passion for financial markets brought him to UNLV to pursue his second degree in Finance.
